The Blood of Dawnwalker ist ein düsteres Open-World-Action-RPG von Rebel Wolves. Im Europa des 14. Jahrhunderts haben Vampire die Verwüstung durch Krieg und Pest genutzt, um offen nach Macht zu greifen. Du spielst Coen, einen jungen Mann, der tagsüber Mensch und nachts Vampir ist und seine Familie vor dem Vampirfürsten Brencis retten will.
Tag und Nacht bilden unterschiedliche Gameplay-Schleifen: Als Mensch kämpfst du mit Schwert und Magie, während dir als Vampir übernatürliche Kräfte und Klauen zur Verfügung stehen. Quests, Entscheidungen und auch bewusst ausgelassene Aufgaben verändern die Welt. Besonders wichtig ist Zeit als Ressource: Wenn du bestimmte Quests annimmst, schreitet sie voran, sodass du nicht jede Geschichte in einem Durchlauf abschließen kannst.
Die handgefertigte offene Welt verbindet mittelalterliche Siedlungen, Wälder, Ebenen, Sümpfe, Berge und Ruinen. Erkundung, Kämpfe und narrative Entscheidungen greifen ineinander und können zu unterschiedlichen Verläufen und Enden führen. Die weltweite Veröffentlichung erfolgte am 3. September 2026.
