Die digitale Umsetzung des Brettspiels von Fantasy Flight Games schickt dich mitten in die Machtkämpfe von Westeros. In A Game of Thrones: The Board Game – Digital Edition übernimmst du eines der großen Häuser und kämpfst mit Armeen, diplomatischen Zusagen und geheimen Befehlen um den Eisernen Thron. Die Welt basiert auf George R. R. Martins Romanreihe Das Lied von Eis und Feuer.
Strategie, Allianzen und Verrat
Eine Partie umfasst bis zu zehn Runden. Du verteilst verdeckt Befehle an deine Truppen, bewegst Fußsoldaten, Ritter, Belagerungsmaschinen und Schiffe und versuchst, Burgen sowie Festungen zu kontrollieren. In den Schlachten können Hauskarten mit bekannten Figuren das Ergebnis beeinflussen. Auf den Einflussleisten konkurrieren die Häuser zusätzlich um den Eisernen Thron, das Valyrische Stahlschwert und den Botenraben. Bündnisse können die Balance verändern – doch niemand muss sie dauerhaft einhalten.
Einzelspieler und Online-Partien
Du kannst allein gegen bis zu fünf KI-Gegner oder online mit insgesamt bis zu sechs Spielern antreten. Die digitalen Abläufe übernehmen einen Teil der Verwaltung des physischen Brettspiels, während die taktischen Entscheidungen erhalten bleiben. Die zwei separat erhältlichen digitalen Szenario-Erweiterungen A Dance with Dragons und A Feast for Crows variieren die Häuser, Ausgangslagen und Siegbedingungen.
PC-Version auf Steam
Die PC-Version erschien am 6. Oktober 2020. Entwickler ist Dire Wolf, aktueller Steam-Publisher Twin Sails Interactive.
